Senior Accountant Opportunity

The Senior Accountant will play a critical, hands-on role in day-to-day financial operations while serving as a trusted financial partner to leadership. You'll help ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial decision-making while also contributing to process improvements and future-state accounting initiatives. This role is ideal for a sharp accounting professional who enjoys owning the details and seeing the bigger picture with the long-term opportunity to grow into a leadership position overseeing the accounting function.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements
Own general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed assets
Oversee and support AP/AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory/tax-related reporting
Lead or support accounting projects and process improvements
Serve as a reliable financial partner to leadership, providing insight and execution
Provide structure and guidance with the long-term expectation of leading the accounts team
Act as backup payroll processor as needed
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong GAAP knowledge with hands-on accounting experience
Background in logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, 3PL, or multi-entity environments strongly preferred
Experience with AP/AR, GL management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Confident communicator who can partner effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
CPA or progress toward CPA preferred (not required)
