Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks.This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software applications.The Accounting Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.Responsibilities Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and payment tracking.Maintain accurate records of debits and credits in accordance with double-entry bookkeeping principles.Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.Skills Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and attention to details.Proficient in math and analytical skills for accurate financial reporting.Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and procedures.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.This position is ideal for candidates to contributing to the financial success of our organization.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Experience:Accounts payable:3 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate:Stillwater, OK 74074:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
