Job description
Reservationist/Cashier We are a high-volume tour company.The ideal candidate will be positive, upbeat, detail oriented, and have the ability to thrive in a high stress environment.Guest interaction is a top priority.Core Duties Manage reservation requests accurately via phone, email, or online platform Accurately enter guest data and payment details into computerized reservation system Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing processes efficiently as the cashier for all guest payments Provide excellent customer service:Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures addressing guest questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive guest relations Maintain detailed records of reservations, cancellations, and guest interactions to support procedures and daily reconciliation Answer incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing inquiries to appropriate departments or staff members Ensure cleanliness of guest areas and gift shop.Essential Skills & Requirements Technical Proficiency:Ability to use industry-specific software and Microsoft Office.Communication:Strong verbal and written skills, often requiring a professional phone etiquette.Detail Orientation:High accuracy in data entry to ensure billing, and guest reservations are correct.Physical Demands:Depending on the setting, may require standing for long periods or sitting in front of a computer for extended shifts.Qualifications:High School diploma.Previous sales/customer service experience preferred.Candidate must have open availability:weekends, evenings, and holidays.Join us in creating welcoming environments where every guest feels valued!
