Job SummaryThe Rural Carrier Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural customers.This position requires a dedicated individual who is capable of handling various driving tasks, including operating vehicles with manual transmissions and delivering items in a safe and customer-focused manner.The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.REQUIRES PERSONAL OWNED VEHICLE Responsibilities- Deliver mail and packages to designated rural routes in a timely manner.- Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.- Load and unload mail and packages, ensuring proper handling during transport.- Provide excellent customer service.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.- Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling materials.Qualifications- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.-Individuals will be required to provide personal owned vehicle for position.- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.- Must be able to work independently while managing time effectively.This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a passion for customer service, and are looking for a rewarding career in mail delivery.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Pay:From $20.38 per hour Language:English (Required) License/Certification:Driver's License (Required) Work Location:In person.
