As a CT Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general diagnostic radiographic and CT exams, at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. This role involves operating advanced CT and X-ray equipment, administering contrast media, and ensuring comprehensive patient preparation and safety. Working under the general direction of the Radiology Manager and immediate supervision of the Lead Technologist, you will uphold Enloe Medical Center's core values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and departmental policies, contributing to the Radiology Department's mission of service excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform CT and general diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures. Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and effectively. Prepare and administer contrast media, including intravenous injections. Prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications for imaging procedures. Ensure quality control and adherence to Enloe Medical Center's Core Values, ARRT Standards of Ethics, and departmental policies and procedures. Support and contribute to the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department. Required Qualifications Not specified. Preferred Qualifications Two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray. One year of experience in CT. Skills & Competencies Thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, and positioning. Proficiency in principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, and radiobiology. Ability to perform specialized techniques required for radiologic and CT technologists. Intelligent and self-motivated. Excellent communication skills. Licensing Requirements Minimum: Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California. Approved CPR certification. ARRT certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire. Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire. Preferred: Current Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification. Current license issued by ARRT. Current Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California. Advanced certification in CT (e.g., ARRT(CT)).
