Job Title Assistant Manager, Radiology Job Summary This role is for an Assistant Manager, Radiology, at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manager, Radiology, and play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality operation of the Radiology Department. This position encompasses leadership, operational management, quality assurance, human resources, and financial oversight within designated areas. The Assistant Manager will supervise Lead and Senior Technologists, and indirectly all technical staff, while fostering a collaborative environment with clerical staff, nursing, and service engineers. Responsibilities include program development, performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining exceptional patient care standards for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The role may also involve performing direct patient diagnostic procedures and providing education to patients, families, students, and staff. This leadership position requires a commitment to the organization's core values, serving as a role model, and actively contributing to a patient-centered approach to healthcare. The Assistant Manager will be instrumental in upholding image quality control and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and support to Lead and Senior Technologists, and indirect oversight of all technical staff within the Radiology Department. Manage daily staffing requirements, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to budgetary targets. Oversee and maintain high standards of image quality control and ensure strict enforcement of departmental policies and procedures. Actively participate in program development and lead departmental performance improvement initiatives. Ensure continuous compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including Joint Commission, Title 17 & 22, and ACR survey criteria.
