Sunstates Security is hiring Full-Time 3rd Shift (Overnight) Site Supervisor in Troutdale, OR. The pay range for these positions is $26.02/ hr., paid. This supervisor is expected to be prepared to start May 1st, 2026.

Requirements:

• Valid Oregon DPSST security license
• Must have reliable transportation
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Must have open availability to work weekends and holidays

General Requirements:

Must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to travel to the site any of the seven days of the week, availability for short notice work and call out work and outstanding customer service skills. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is strongly preferred. Additionally, all applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications

• 2-3 years of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
• Display a willingness to hold a team accountable to the standards of the job while upholding those same standards in their own performance (including, but not limited to, enforcing attendance, post coverage, dress code, and training requirements)
• The ability to receive critical feedback and incorporate requested changes into operating procedures and performance, both for themselves and the team they lead, is non-negotiable
• Must possess or acquire within 60 days a current DPSST unarmed security supervisor license
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance
• Can mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure
• Sound judgment of when/how to partner with branch, client & company management to address issues and when/how to address issues under their own authority
• Is in possession of a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and generally comfortable using computer systems
• Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form and in a timely manner across a variety of platforms
• Exceptional Report Writing Skills
• Excellent communication skills, including appropriate follow up communication upon completion of tasks or that a task cannot be completed along with the reason(s) why and an updated timeline for such tasks.
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work independently
• The ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be over 21 and able to be driver certified This opening is for a 40 hours per week position that is benefits eligible after 30 days.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Shift Supervisor must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
