BILLING SPECIALIST

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Billing Specialist.

Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 12 months, possible extension
Location: Remote

About the Role:

• Coordinates pricing and contracting for the sales team across many different departments, responsible for efficient and accurate data entry and maintenance of customer information, stays up to date with utility requirements, and provides technical support to stakeholders, communicates clearly and concisely when interacting with others verbally or via email.

An energy industry introductory position that requires the following:

• proficiency in Microsoft applications, strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build and maintain trusting relationships, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
• Demonstrates flexibility, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm to learn with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, and can work under pressure.
• Experience working with the payment provider Pay Clearly is preferred, and having experience working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Bachelor’s degree required

Primarily Responsibilities:

• Will do analysis on the payment files primarily (utilizing Excel, MS Office, and Pay/Billing tools). Reach out to customers for any missing information, so some customer interaction will also be involved, but the majority of the responsibilities are going to be more of an Analyst.
• Someone with a prior background as a Billing Analyst can be considered.
• Create Invoices and also pay invoices for some customers as well
• Analytical skills- Excel MS Office; can work with 3rd Party vendors (Billig & Pay)
• Working with customers and making sure customers' bills are paid with the 3rd Party
• PayClearly experience is preferred; any other Pay or Billing tool is preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
