The work is challenging, but deeply meaningfulbecause every improvement we make has the potential to change a life./ppIf youre ready to contribute to something bigger than yourself and help transform the future of healthcare, youll find your purpose here./ph3Job Description/h3pPrimary Function of Position/pulliSupports Plastics category team with strategic sourcing initiatives, spend analytics, preparation of category reviews, supplier scorecards, and supplier business reviews, and reporting activities related to capacity, cost, risk, and supplier performance management./liliMay support or lead other strategic purchasing initiatives as required./li/ulpEssential Job Duties/pulliStrategic Sourcing Initiatives/liliSupports assigned commodity teams with preparing RFx packages/liliLeads initial analysis of RFx responses from suppliers/liliSupports market research and related supplier analysis for designated category team(s)/liliMay support implementation of sourcing or supplier-related projects/liliSpend Analytics/liliCompletes routine spend analysis for assigned category team(s), including preparing market maps and summarizing key trends for category leads/liliEnsures accuracy of master data related to commodity classifications for designated category team(s)/liliConducts ad hoc spend analysis, including at the part, supplier, and sub-commodity level/liliCategory Reviews/liliSupports assigned category team(s) with preparing annual category reviews as well as quarterly checkpoints/liliMonitors key sources of commodity intelligence for assigned categories/liliReporting Management/liliCapacity: leads routine reviews of capacity metrics for assigned commodity teams to ensure data is complete and required projects have been initiated./liliCost: Reviews standard tools to identify possible cost reduction opportunities and track purchase price variance. May support data gathering for monthly cost savings tracking. May lead or support project cutover management planning./liliRisk: supports administration of SCRM tool to ensure accuracy of data for assigned category team(s); may support specific risk mitigation projects./liliSupplier Performance: supports preparation of supplier scorecards and supplier business reviews. May analyze standard reporting tools to ensure data accuracy, summarize performance trends, and identify opportunities for improvement for designated categories./liliContracts: Provides contract administration support. May provide ad hoc support for updating contract exhibits at the direction of the category leads./liliSupports ad hoc strategic sourcing initiatives as required, which could include supporting IT/automation enhancements and testing, supporting compliance related requirements, documenting processes, conducting ad hoc supply chain analysis, and generating data visualizations or leadership-level presentations./liliIdentifies continuous improvement opportunities/liliMay mentor colleagues in the Global Supply Chain organization on Strategic Sourcing tools and processes/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pRequired Skills and Experience/pulliSignificant computer experience including MS Office products and ERP systems.
