Our People Systems and Technology team supports the platforms and tools that power employer branding, employee engagement, and talent development initiatives. By designing, maintaining, and optimizing systems that connect candidates, employees, and leaders, the team enables a consistent, data‑driven, and engaging people experience across the organization.
As a Systems Engineer Intern, you’ll support the technical foundation behind talent programs while gaining exposure to how systems, data, and automation influence workforce strategy.
As a Systems Engineer Intern, you will assist with the development, optimization, and support of systems related to employer branding, engagement platforms, and talent development pipelines. This role blends technical problem‑solving with people‑focused outcomes, offering hands‑on experience working with HR‑adjacent systems and data.
This position is ideal for someone interested in how technology supports recruiting, learning, and employee engagement. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional partners, contribute to impactful projects, and build skills at the intersection of systems engineering and talent strategy.
So, what will you be doing as a Systems Engineer Intern?
- Employer Branding Systems Support – Assist with tools and platforms used for career sites, employer branding content, and candidate engagement channels.
- Engagement & Experience Platforms – Support systems used for employee engagement surveys, internal communication tools, and feedback platforms.
- Talent Development & Pipeline Tools – Help maintain and improve learning, development, and early‑career pipeline systems (e.g., LMS, internship or campus programs).
- Systems Configuration & Testing – Assist with system updates, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation to ensure reliable performance and user experience.
- Data & Reporting – Support data extraction and basic reporting related to recruiting effectiveness, engagement metrics, and talent pipeline health.
- Process Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve automation, and enhance system usability.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Communications teams to support shared initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Interest in how technology supports people, culture, and talent development.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Things we consider a plus:
- Familiarity with HR systems such as ATS, LMS, HRIS, or engagement platforms.
- Experience with data analysis, dashboards, or reporting tools.
- Interest in employer branding, recruiting technology, or early‑career programs.
- Exposure to process automation or systems documentation.
