  • Develop and maintain a wellness program, including education and health promotion initiatives to minimize financial impact and promote colleague well-being.
  • Coordinate health and safety training programs, leveraging internal resources or outside vendors to ensure compliance and risk reduction.
  • Conduct facility inspections, provide recommendations for process improvements, and address areas needing enhancements to promote colleague health and safety.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert or team member to support process management teams in health and safety initiatives.
  • Establish business partnerships to address claims, work-related injuries, and overall safety, health, and wellness within the colleague population.
  • Coordinate facility training for first response teams and oversee the AED program.
  • Manage responses to occupational and environmental health concerns within the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with drug testing policies.
  • Develop and deliver specific health and safety training programs tailored to the needs of the location or network, with approval from the Director of Shortage and Risk Control.
  • Act as an integral partner in driving safety within the facility, escalating critical needs to appropriate internal and external business partners.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • In addition to the essential duties mentioned above, other duties may be assigned.
