Job description
  • Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Equipment repair plans/procedures in coordination with equipment suppliers and engineering
  • Supervise technicians
  • Manage expense budgets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Create and oversite maintenance procedures
  • Oversight of on-site machinery repairs (maintenance shop support)
  • Oversight of third party machinery fabrication shops including hold point inspections
  • Review plant equipment purchase recommendations for operability, maintainability, and reliability.
  • Understanding of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage for preventive maintenance, failure reporting and equipment history management.
  • Experience with industrial heavy machinery is required. Experience with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermographics and lubrication monitoring.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with people in all departments.
  • Time and project management skills required.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to handle multiple assignments with minimum guidance.
