An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with the expectation of obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 12 months or already possessing a North Dakota PE license. Relevant experience of 3-6 years in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting is crucial, as is proficiency in design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer.
