We are searching for an experienced, positive and enthusiastic Operations Supervisor to join our team! This position primarily assists the Operations Managers and takes on a lead role in assuring the effective and efficient routing and scheduling for PWS Operations. As we continue to grow, our new supervisory roles here are a great steppingstone for management opportunities in the future!We offer:Competitive weekly payPaid time offFree and low-cost Health Insurance options, dental and vision insurance401k plan, with a generous match of up to 4%Company 100% paid short term and long-term disability and life insuranceResponsibilities: This positions generally needs to be available between the hours of 7:00 am - 5:00 pm M-FEvaluate and improve the effectiveness of routes using computer softwareAnalyze and make recommendations on improving route performancesEnter accurate and timely dispatches and updatesDevelop and implement strategies for cost reduction on routes while maintaining service qualityAccurately complete required forms, documents, reports, records, etc.Assist in directing drivers to perform pick-ups and deliveries in an efficient and effective mannerAttend regular training and educational programs related to dispatching and routing softwareAssist with various yearly projects in OperationsQualifications: Experience working with routing and logistics softwareAbility to change or create routes in all divisions to improve efficiencyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Encore, electronic calendars, etcAbility to effectively provide leadership supervision in the dispatch officeStrong verbal and written communications skillsWilling to undergo a drug screening in accordance with local law/regulationsPossess OR the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B)About Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc.:Pellitteri Waste Systems, Inc. provides commercial and residential waste recovery systems, as well as confidential document destruction at the customer site.
