The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels./ppPrimary Responsibilities:/pulliMedical Assistant I ulliProvide supportive patient care functions under supervision/liliEnsure patient safety and comfort in accordance with legal and professional standards/liliPerform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN/li/ul/liliMedical Assistant II ulliIncludes all duties of MA I/liliAdminister injectables and perform advanced clinical tasks/liliRequires additional experience and/or certification/li/ul/liliMedical Assistant III ulliIncludes all duties of MA I and II/liliPerform high-level clinical procedures/liliServe as a resource for less experienced staff/li/ul/li/ulpYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in./ppRequired Qualifications (All Levels):/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED/liliGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program/liliNo experience required with Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant or 1+ years of directly related experience as a medical assistant with no Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant/liliBLS certification through the American Heart Association/liliBasic medical/nursing terminology/liliComputer proficiency/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliFor MA II ulliCertification/Registration as a Medical Assistant/lili5+ years of directly related experience/li/ul/liliFor MA III ulliCertification/Registration as a Medical Assistant/lili8+ years of directly related experience/liliExperience in Ambulatory Care/liliEPIC and Windows-based computer systems experience/li/ul/li/ulpPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
