RN MDS Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented RN MDS Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator to join our team at Arden House in Hamden, CT. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments, as well as coordinating clinical reimbursement efforts. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough and accurate MDS assessments for all residents, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Coordinate clinical reimbursement efforts, including denial management and appeals
Review and correct codes, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure complete and accurate documentation
Maintain accurate records and reports, as required by federal and state regulations
Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and reimbursement guidelines
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (B.S.N.)
3+ years of experience as a registered nurse, with experience in MDS coding and reimbursement
Active CT RN license
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
