Jr. Staff Accountant

Position Summary The Jr.

Staff Accountant will assist with month-end and year-end close process, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assist with postings to the general ledger. Primary Purpose:

• The Jr.
• Staff Accountant will collect, compile and enter payroll data using appropriate software.
• Review and verify source documents.
• Essential Functions Help process month-end and year-end close process Supervise accounts payable team members Reconcile balance sheet accounts to general ledger Post month-end journal entries Provide monthly reports comparing actual results with budgeted projections and writing budget variance notes Assist in the process of developing budgets Support all day-to-day accounting functions Bank reconciliations Process account payables vouchers and deposit accounts receivables checks As other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills :

• · Must be detailed oriented. · Maintain effective working relationships with company’s external partners · Excellent communication and analytical skills · Bilingual (English and Spanish) · Knowledge of relevant software (Excel, Word, Quickbooks or other accounting software packages) · Understanding of basic accounting principles · Understanding of internal controls of Account Payable and Account Receivable.
