POINTBANK
MARKETING SPECIALIST
Promote, market, and facilitate the overall sale of products of the bank. Contribute to the bank's growth by the effective sale of bank services to new and existing customers with emphasis on courteous and professional service
FLSA STATUS
This position is classified as Exempt under the Administrative Exemption of the FLSA.
OVERVIEW
Responsible for executing the marketing plan of the bank including the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns. Requires coordination of public relations, advertising, product development and training to enhance market share and contribute to the bank's overall growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Under the direction of the Marketing Director, oversee all aspects of the bank's marketing initiatives.
- Closely monitor bank marketing activities.
- Design, produce and distribute advertising, marketing and other promotional materials to branches.
- Work with internal or external parties to develop multi- media campaigns.
- Research advertising campaigns with applicable media outlets and manage deadlines.
- Development of press releases and other public relations materials.
- Regularly proof and update website content.
- Regularly update social media sites.
- Co-manage and adhere to marketing budgets, invoice tracking, coding and submitting.
- Continually improve bank image and expand techniques to better service customers.
- Keep current on marketing trends via continuing education.
- Track competitive marketplace and proactively design campaigns to gain competitive advantage.
- Design and output collateral and ads, digital and print.
- Ordering of marketing collateral, merchandise and supplies.
- Coordination and logistics for bank-wide events.
- Assist Branch Managers with their event needs.
- Co-manage Event Marketing calendar, tracking budgets and event ROI.
- Co-manage CRA documentation in designated software.
- Represent the bank at civic and community activities.
- Attend all meetings and complete all training required to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations and guidance associated with the performance of your job function.
- Comply with all applicable BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures associated with the performance of your job function, including participation in required training and identifications of suspicious activity.
- Responsible for making suggestions to improve branch/departmental operations and overall bank.
- Perform other duties and assignments within the bank at Management's request; accept periodic cross-training, works in other branches if needed.
