Remote Technical Expert - Software Engineering - AI Trainer ($90-$120 per hour)

Mercor is seeking software engineering experts to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems on coding and technical reasoning tasks. In this contract role, you will review AI-generated code, create high-quality programming prompts, assess model correctness, and provide expert feedback across areas such as algorithms, data structures, systems design, debugging, software architecture, databases, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and full-stack development. Ideal candidates have strong software engineering experience, clear written communication skills, and the ability to evaluate code for correctness, efficiency, readability, security, and maintainability.
