The Production Scheduler will develop and maintain production planning schedules and provide reporting on production job costing for the automated packaging machine facility in Orlando. Participate with production team to generate schedules for production projects. Generate Gantt chart schedules for production projects and for customer communications. Provide planning strategy of strategic and critical projects and systems. Provide project status and support to all project stakeholders including but not limited to: Sales, Design Engineers, Project Managers, Customers, Contractors, and others. Analyze project costs and provide feedback on project performance. Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions and acting as a technical liaison to management and others. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, making decisions about purchases of materials or services, and assists with the development and implementation of departmental budgets. Support efficiencies via process change, automation, etc. Support project schedule and costs for items relating to application. Assist in cost reduction and quality improvement of projects for our processes and machinery. Other job duties as assigned; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Degree in Project Planning from accredited institution or, 5+ years experience in related work in Production Scheduling and Planning. Professional approach with experience in project planning and scheduling for multi project production. Experience in Production and Manufacturing processes and execution. Proficient in MS Office Software including Project planning software - Required. MRP or ERP software platforms - Required. Must have effective customer service skills (i.e. excellent written and verbal communication skills, high emotional intelligence, positive attitude and a service leadership philosophy). Self-motivated, quick to deliver and a team player. Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity, and a penchant for high quality. Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of self-accountability.
