This is an on-call position, requiring you to be available for 40 hours per week, but guarantees a minimum of 24 hours per week of scheduled work.Schedule: Must have open availability for all shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rdYOUR ROLE AS OUR SECURITY PATROL SPECIALIST:As an unarmed Security Patrol Specialist, you play a vital role in ensuring safety and professionalism. You conduct fixed and roving patrols across client properties, serving as a first-line ambassador. Your duties include observing, deterring, and reporting incidents while accurately documenting site activities. You enforce client procedures and maintain exceptional customer service, all while being prepared to respond quickly and calmly to critical situations.WHAT'S REQUIRED?Valid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or GED18+ years old or the minimum age required by the stateCustomer service experience2+ years of security experience and/or military/LEOAuthorization to legally work in the United StatesGreat communication and customer service skillsKnowledge to operate the radio, telephone, and console monitorsEffective verbal and written English communication skillsAccess to reliable transportation that allows for short-notice response throughout the Atlanta Metro areaAbility to work any shift, 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including weekends and holidaysAbility to complete crisis prevention training and site-specific training before serving as a qualified security officerAbility to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensingAbility to lift/carry up to 50 lbsAbility to reach over your head with 10-25 lb loadsAbility to walk up and down stairs, with loads up to 50 lbsAbility to walk and stand for extended periods and use laddersAbility to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours)Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditionsAbility to work at a desk and use a keyboardAn associate's degree is preferred but not required!WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO:At E.K.G Security, Inc., our dedicated team has been safeguarding clients and properties since 1992.
