About You In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. This role is part of Kimberly-Clark’s investment in creating new jobs and expanding its capabilities to produce premium products that are essential to millions of lives around the world, and right here in Paris. It starts with YOU. The role will support the BCC departments, reporting to the Paris Safety Manager. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 am -3:00 pm, with flexibility in schedule required. Overtime may be required but not guaranteed. In this position, you will * Lead department in safety standards and safety problem solving compliance. * Lead department safety team, and RANGERS PBS Team. * Be responsible for department safety communications. * Participate in accident investigations and coordination of follow-up activities. Initiate improvements and awareness activities which affect department safety performance. * Participate in the plant Environmental Health and Safety Steering team and Emergency Response Team. * Provide leadership in department physical condition audits, department housekeeping improvements, and assurance of accurate records and analysis of department safety reporting information. * Represent department in Plant design reviews and Safety Management of Change. Provides Voice of Customer feedback to Engineering designs related to department safety concerns. * Attend workshops, seminars, or conferences to present or obtain information regarding safety, maintain certifications as required. Ability to implement new knowledge and teach others. * Share best practices / common approaches across the plant. * Plan/facilitate various safety training sessions for the department (weekly/ monthly / quarterly safety training). * Provide safety behavioral and systems training for new hires and transfers. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications: * Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States. * Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate. * Bachelor’s degree in a Safety related field and/or a CSP Certification (certified safety professional). * Minimum of two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. * 1+ years of continuous work experience. * Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening * Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT) * Demonstrated history of involvement in safety activities and safety leadership. * Demonstrated track record of coaching and leading a team to a common goal. * Possess good communication skills (written and oral) for informal and formal documents and presentations for all levels of the organization. * Possess excellent interpersonal / leadership skills. * Possess basic computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software/systems, such as Electronic Total Quality System, Management of Change (skills improvement training will be provided as required). * Ability to organize and execute compliance activities – (examples: lock out audits, chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets reviews, Machinery Risk Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures). * Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new skills and subject matter, quickly and effectively. * Collaborative: a unifying force among work force. * Visionary: clear understanding of role and potential contributions to facility safety. * Decisive: confront issues, take action, and correct problems, independent decision making. * Initiative: self-starter with respect to identifying and addressing safety issues. * Must be able to meet deadlines. * Must be able to travel. The following will apply for Internal K-C Applicants: * Must currently be in (or have completed), a Level 4 or higher KC leadership assignment (i.e. PO, Shift Specialist, Process Specialist, Safety Ops, etc.) within the last 5 years or bachelor’s degree in a Safety related field and/or a CSP Certification (certified safety professional). * Must have KC Operations experience or a minimum of two years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. * Must not currently be on a Performance Improvement Plan * No Documented Discipline (Level 1) or above for Safety infractions within the year prior expiration date of the posting. An employee’s receipt of a Documented Discipline (KC-80 Level 1) or above for a Safety infraction at any time from the posting expiration date to the date the employee actually transitions into the new role, will deem the employee ineligible for the position * No Written Warning (KC-80 Level 2) or above within the year prior to the expiration date of the posting. An employee’s receipt of a Written Warning (KC-80 Level 2) or above at any time from the posting expiration date to the date the employee actually transitions into the new role, will deem the employee ineligible for the promotion. Testing Requirements: MS Excel / Proficiency Level Basic / Minimum Score 50% MS Word / Proficiency Level Basic / Minimum Score 50%= MS PowerPoint / Proficiency Level Basic Minimum Score 50% Computer testing must be completed no later than 2:00 pm May 19, 2026. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure that all testing requirements are fulfilled. If the HR department does not have test scores on file for you by above listed time, you will be excluded from consideration for the position. Please notify the HR department if you have scores on file for the required tests that you would like to use. If you do not yet have test scores on file, please contact the HR department to take the required tests by the deadline stated above. If you fail to complete and pass any of the required tests by the deadline, you will no longer be an eligible applicant for the posted position. Must obtain a score of 3.0 or better Performance Review (33% overall weighting) Seniority (33% overall weighting) In addition to the items above, the selection process will include evaluation of the selection components, as well as overall job fit that includes performance reviews, team leader feedback, experience, etc. The selected team members will have met the eligibility requirements listed above and will have successfully completed the selection process.
