As the Ink Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the ink manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and on-time delivery of products.

The Ink Plant Manager serves as the primary liaison between the customer and internal technical teams, driving quality, compliance, productivity improvements, and continuous operational excellence. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
This position may support multiple plant locations and requires 24-hour on-call responsiveness for quality-critical issues.
- Responsible for managing a team of production workers and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Supervise Ink Technicians and Graphic Technical Coordinator in all ink support activities.
- Manage on-site ink blending operations within structured ink management systems
- Coordinate ink inventory, deliveries, and order flow to ensure uninterrupted production
- Lead color matching processes and maintain accurate formulation files
- Establish and review customer-specific quality standards. Identify, set and review quality standards for customers.
- Effectively coordinate efforts with key customer personnel, particularly during qualification trials.
- Develop and execute plans to manage press returns and obsolete materials
- Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at customer locations
- Serve as the primary liaison between customer operations and internal technical teams
- Support VOC compliance programs and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain compliance schedules, monitoring systems, and required documentation
- Perform full supervisory responsibilities including scheduling, performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary recommendations
- Provide on-site customer service support and technical sales backup
