Entry-Level HR Coordinator - Hybrid from Chicago, IL
LHH is hiring an entry-level HR Coordinator for our client in the Loop. This is a position supporting both recruitment and administrative tasks for the HR department. Please apply today if you have a Bachelor degree in Human Resources (or related) and at least 1 year of HR experience.
Overview,
- Hiring type: Direct-Hire
- Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week (downtown Loop)
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM-5PM
Required qualifications,
- Bachelor degree (completed) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources
- HR Certification (SHRM, etc.) preferred
- Prior experience in corporate or professional services
Responsibilities include,
- Assisting in general HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, onboarding and new hire orientations
- Being the point of contact for new hires on their first day, including booking training with IT and other departments, giving office tours, and first-day introductions
- Handling background checks and I9 verifications
- Supporting recruitment team by means of scheduling interviews, taking candidates to and from conference rooms for interviews, and reviewing resumes
