We're seeking two full-time Neonatologists to join a growing NICU program in Odessa, Texas. What's the Gig?
- You'll play a key role in a Level II NICU with a planned transition to Level III, offering the chance to help shape and elevate the program.
- Currently a 12-bed NICU, designed to support both growth and high-quality patient care.
- Approximately 1,400 annual deliveries, serving a broad regional population.
- Average daily census of 6–7 patients, allowing for thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include:
- Managing neonates born at 32 weeks gestation or greater and weighing 1,500 grams or more.
- Caring for convalescing infants transitioning out of intensive care.
- Providing short-term mechanical ventilation support as needed.
- Stabilizing and coordinating transfer of critically ill neonates requiring higher-level care.
- Treating infants with perinatal substance exposure, including scoring and pharmacologic management.
- Managing low-birth-weight infants who require extended monitoring, feeding support, and nursing care.
- Delivering critical neonatal interventions such as CPR, cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and acute stabilization.
