We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Systems Administrator to join a leading Company located in the Indianapolis, IN surrounding area. **US Citizenship is required.** **Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.** We are actively seeking a candidate who is well-versed in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Microsoft Intune-managed environments, while also operating effectively across desktop support, endpoint management, security compliance, and network-related challenges. You will be expected to move fluidly across technical domains. This means owning problems end-to-end rather than handing them off-while balancing user experience, security requirements, and operational efficiency. This role is in support of a secure and enterprise-scale environment with federally regulated compliance requirements. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues, including device configuration, policy application, compliance failures, and software deployment. Provide hands-on desktop support in an enterprise environment, including OS, hardware, and user-facing issues. Diagnose and address network connectivity issues (, access restrictions, firewall rules, DNS, VPN, IP/Port/URL filtering). Navigate and resolve security and compliance-related challenges, including endpoint hardening, policy enforcement, and audit readiness. Operate effectively across multiple functions-including endpoint management, support, security, and asset management-without reliance on rigid team boundaries. Basic Hiring Criteria: Bachelor's degree in information systems or relevant field and 3+ years practical experience in the field. Ability to obtain public trust clearance. Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365-based tools. Demonstrated and proven ability to independently resolve issues, improve day-to-day operations with self-driven initiatives, and operate with a growth mindset. Hands-on experience administering or operating network access controls in the form of IP :Port or URL-based filters. Practical experience managing enterprise desktops within a Microsoft Intune managed environment. Hands-on experience troubleshooting and administering Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment - ideally including peripheral device management, asset management, and VOIP operations. Understanding and practical exposure to regulatory controls, baselines, and security policies within an Azure Entra and Intune-based environment with enterprise desktops and endpoints (CIS benchmarks, STIG, etc). Intune (in experience) managing applications/devices - very hands on . Implementing policies in Intune/password controls/device media/Security Hardening.
