Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and thorough medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting various imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement customized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing the OR, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing the delivery of surgical instruments
• Administer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education and Training

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference given to candidates with surgical rotation experience

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is mandatory
• Possess (or be eligible for) state licensure as a Physician Assistant
