Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Production Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
2. Oversee a workforce of production employees and ensure they are operating in line with health and safety regulations.
3. Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
4. Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
5. Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
6. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement new processes and technologies to maximize efficiency.
7. Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels.
8. Monitor production standards and implement quality control programs.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience as Production Manager or similar role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
3. Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
4. Deep knowledge of production management and understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
5. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
6. Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
7. Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
