Summary:
-
Provide engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing, and laboratory operations support for electronic and mechanical systems.

Fabricate electronic/electrical chassis assemblies and mechanical equipment racks using development engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Perform testing, disassembly, reassembly, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and subassemblies.

Support laboratory operations while maintaining compliance with safety standards, procedures, and organizational requirements.

Work independently to resolve technical issues, communicate with customers, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in a fast-paced engineering laboratory setting.
Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Ability to read and interpret:

Process specifications

Technical diagrams

Experience conducting physical and electronic testing on assemblies and subassemblies.

Experience with fabrication, assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of electronic and mechanical systems.

Ability to follow procedures, standards, sequences, and technical instructions accurately.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a laboratory or engineering environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and communicate technical issues effectively with customers and vendors.

Ability to climb ladders (3 5 feet), lift up to 50 pounds, and work any assigned shift.

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree (AA) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field preferred.

Experience with laboratory operations and engineering hardware support environments.
