The Nurse Practitioner's responsibilities in the Detox unit include:
- Perform history, physical, and discharge summaries on the patients admitted to the detox unit
- Attend daily whiteboard rounds with the attending and detox staff
- Respond to patient care issues as they arise on the floor
- Call subspecialty consultations as required
- Collaboration with nursing, counseling, and attending staff in formulating patient care and discharge plans
Master's Degree or Doctorate
Current NYS License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Eligibility for ANCC
Minimum of three (3) year experience with addiction disorders in hospital setting
