Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a stepdown or intermediate care unit environment.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac and other vital signs to identify and respond to clinical changes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Precept and mentor junior staff as necessary to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Tennessee or compact state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting, preferably with stepdown and CV experience.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center and with large hospital settings required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required.
• Experienced with team nursing ratios and able to work 1:6 ratios.
• Travel nursing experience required with prior assignments completed successfully.
