Join a leading hospital Heart Center in the vibrant Capitol Hill/Seattle 98122 neighborhood. This travel Medical Assistant (CMA) opportunity is ideal for CMA-certified clinicians seeking hands-on cardiovascular clinic experience, exposure to Epic EMR, and a possible temp-to-perm path in Seattle healthcare.

  • Open to first-time travelers and local Seattle candidates
Required Qualifications
  • Active Medical Assistant - Certified (MA-C / CMA) credential (MA-R not accepted)
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and patient-care skills
  • Previous cardiovascular, cardiology clinic, or outpatient experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule cardiovascular procedures (echocardiograms, stress testing) and manage procedure logistics
  • Prepare charts, maintain accurate patient records, and document in Epic EMR
  • Obtain vital signs; record patient history, medications, and allergies
  • Perform insurance verification and complete authorization forms
  • Handle follow-up phone calls, triage messages, and pharmacy refill requests
  • Assist with specimen labeling, specimen processing, and stocking supplies
  • Provide telephone triage and support daily cardiology clinic operations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cardiac patient care
