Job Duties
You will report to the Assistant Program Manager for Waterfront Operations and manage the successful execution and delivery of program requirements.
You will independently engage other stakeholders in defining the scope, cost, schedule, and highly technical facets of in-service aircraft carrier projects.
You will proactively collaborate with counterparts in PMS 312, the technical community, PARMs, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Newport News and industry partners.
You will monitor the execution of over-arching policy and regulations while ensuring high-quality and actionable results.
You will practice accountability of program management through the phases of system acquisition and sustainment, as applicable while ensuring effective defense systems are delivered to the warfighter.
You will coordinate with PEO Carriers and technical teams to gather information supporting the scheduling, planning, and execution of modernization, including Refueling Complex Overhaul (RCOH) transitions.
You will identify, analyze and resolve technical, schedule and financial issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assimilate data to communicate associated risks and develops necessary mitigations.
You will conduct cost savings analysis of all assigned tasks, including implementation and tracking of cost savings initiatives.
You will support the timely resolution of issues related to the long-term effects of contract performance with government and industry partners.
