Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Loan Processor to join our team in the Mortgage industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a deep understanding of real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing mortgage loan processing, pre-closing, and closing activities. Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, VA Loan, and automated underwriting systems like LP & DU is essential. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field. Why join us? Job Details Responsibilities: 1. Manage the entire loan process from application to closing, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all loan applications. 2. Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and customers to obtain necessary documentation for loan approval. 3. Review loan application files to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage, borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment. 4. Submit loan applications to automated underwriting systems (AUS) like LP & DU for approval and work closely with underwriters to resolve any issues or questions. 5. Prepare and review closing documents, coordinate closing schedules, and ensure all conditions are met prior to closing. 6. Stay up-to-date with mortgage industry trends, regulations, and guidelines, including those related to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, and VA Loans. 7. Deliver exceptional customer service by answering customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or in a similar role in the Mortgage industry. 2. Extensive knowledge of mortgage products and loan processing. 3. Proven experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, VA Loan, and automated underwriting systems like LP & DU. 4. Exceptional customer service skills with a proven ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. 5. Strong understanding of real estate transactions, including pre-closing and closing activities. 6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 7. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Proficiency in using mortgage loan software and other related applications.
