GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Set up, adjust and operate machine tools to perform operations on a variety of standardized parts holding close tolerances and finished requirements using own tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform operations on machine types such as standard turning, milling, drilling and boring machines.
- Housekeeping.
- Proper call in procedure.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a good attitude and be highly motivated.
- 2 years machine shop experience.
- Use a variety of precision measuring tools.
- Able to read and work from blueprints.
- Fork truck and overhead crane experience required.
-Satisfactory attendance to meet business needs.
