Senior Experiential Graphic Designer

is seeking a Senior Experiential Graphic Designer for our Brand Experience Studio (BXP) in our Charlotte, NC office.

As a Senior Experiential Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with a BXP Design Principal / Art Directors and transdisciplinary teams to lead the design and implementation of branded communications, user experiences, and wayfinding solutions for national and international clients.

Role Overview:

·Lead the design process for small to medium scale experiential graphic and wayfinding projects from concept through implementation

·Translate art direction into multiple compelling design solutions that align with client brand, user experience, and project goals

·Establish clear design intent and ensure consistency and quality across all phases of work

·Lead and present design concepts to clients with minimal oversight

·Actively participate in and help lead client meetings, presentations, and conference calls

·Manage project scope and execute work within budgeted timeframes and design expectations

·Coordinate with project managers and operations to meet project performance goals

·Source and coordinate directly with vendors, contractors, and trade partners for pricing, fabrication, and installation

Ideal Experience & Skills:

·Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field and/or a bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline

·Proven ability to lead projects from ideation through completion

·Strong skills in ideation, conceptualizing, and translating strategy into built experience

·Strong skills in typography, composition, layout, and information design

·Ability to both lead independently and collaborate effectively across disciplines

·Experience presenting to clients and clearly articulating design decisions

·Strong knowledge of sign and environmental graphics production materials and methods

·Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

·Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop specifically)

Other Great Assets for this Position:

•Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers

•Print, logo, packaging, and/or product design

•Illustration and/or calligraphy skills

•Web and/or interactive design

•Knowledge of SketchUp, CAD Tools, SignAgent, Revit, and/or 3D modeling software
