Shift: 1st shift
Schedule: Monday Thursday | 3:45pm - 2:15am
Overtime: Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Machine Operator Assistants to support the Roasting and Blending department in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assisting machine operators with production processes, monitoring roasting equipment, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are maintained.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with tending and monitoring roasting machines during production
Check temperatures and make adjustments as instructed
Load and unload raw materials and finished product
Maintain production flow and assist operators as needed
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Support quality and safety standards throughout production
Report equipment issues, hazards, or safety concerns immediately
Wear all required PPE including ear plugs and other safety equipment
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for 8+ hours during shift
Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hot production environment
Exposure to loud machinery; hearing protection required
Fast-paced manufacturing setting
