Job description

ROLE We are seeking a Program Support Specialist to support the U.S.

Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia (USAO NDGA) in Atlanta, GA.

In this role, you will help the Law Enforcement Coordination Committee (LECC) Program carry out its mission by supporting the coordination, communication, and administrative work behind law enforcement outreach and public safety initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES Support the LECC Manager with assigned administrative, clerical, and program coordination tasks Maintain Outlook contact cards and distribution lists for law enforcement coordination needs Update contact records used to communicate officer and public safety information Enter and track data related to meetings, trainings, events, contacts, and program activities Maintain program records, correspondence, and project documentation under federal guidelines Review documents for format, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and grammar Send prepared announcements, emails, calendar invites, and other program information Support meeting, training, and special event planning, setup, registration, and closeout Coordinate printing, supplies, site setup, attendance records, and event support materials Prepare documentation for POST and Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police credit requests Produce written documents and materials using Microsoft Office and related software Enter information into databases and monitor records for continued program need Handle sensitive information with discretion, confidentiality, and required approvals Track LECC memberships, dues, and outside organization standing Arrange staff travel, conference registration, visitor approvals, and travel vouchers Support office automation tasks that combine output from multiple software tools Assist the LECC Manager with urgent program needs, special events, and vetting checks Provide information to law enforcement agencies as directed by the LECC Manager Maintain storage room inventory, supplies, filing, mailing, and related office support tasks REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to make responsible decisions on short notice and adapt to unexpected developments Excellent ability to prioritize task requests and manage multiple tasks Ability to work and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff Ability to meet and deal with people in a courteous and tactful manner Strong attention to detail and organization skills Physically located within the general geographic commuting radius of the USAO office Valid driver’s license REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Demonstrated experience performing administrative, clerical, program support, or coordination duties similar to those described EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required A four-year undergraduate degree preferred LOCATION Atlanta, GA 30303 TELEWORK Situational telework may be authorized CLEARANCE U.S. citizenship is required as it supports the U.S. federal government Must be able to obtain favorable adjudication for the required background investigation CLIENT U.S.

Individual’s primary workstation is located in an office area.

The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.

Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 100% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc.

Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.
