Summary of Position:
The Pool Technician is part of our Resort's Repair & Maintenance / Engineering Team, and is responsible for maintaining all pools, spas and fountains, keeping them in good repair. The goal is an attractive and well-maintained water experience for all guests and patrons.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Some Experience with pool maintenance required
Certificates or Licenses: Certified Pool Operator
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of all maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, water chemistry, and natural gas properties as well as the related use of hand and power tools.
Knowledge of safety and handling procedures of all pool and spa chemicals.
Ability to learn and use of related tools including hand and power tools.
Mathematical skills necessary to perform job duties.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and push and pull objects weighing up to 100 pounds, carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk around the property for the majority of the work period.
Ability to memorize and perform Resort Standards, AAA Diamond standards, and Department and Service Standards.

Working Conditions:
This is a safety sensitive position and as such, is subject to our Company's Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy and will be subject to random drug screenings.
This position requires extensive time outdoors and around the entire property.
Actual hours may vary dependent on business need.
