Position Profile
Weaver is looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of training and development programs designed to promote professional growth, enhance technical competence, and maintain individual and firm level compliance. This role will work closely with service line partners to support Weaver's learning culture and equip our people with the skills and knowledge to meet client needs and grow with our growing firm.
To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of general work experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Effectively apply written and verbal communication skills
- Effectively organize and utilize input from diverse sources to achieve program goals
- Operate a computer and a variety of software programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Relate and interact successfully with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds
- Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function
- Demonstrate ethical and professional standards outlined by the firm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute service line's strategic annual training plan alongside the L&D manager
- Provide administrative and logistical support for the overall delivery of training, including scheduling, booking conference space, communications, participant tracking, continuing education accreditation, catering and audio-visual setup, facilitation and hospitality, course materials distribution, evaluation forms, and maintenance of course records
- Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials
- Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures
- Compile and communicate status of required firm training
- Gather and analyze data on training needs through relationships with participants and course leads as well as conducting post-training evaluations and annual surveys
- Support employees with utilizing Weaver's Learning and Development benefits including certification courses, obtaining licenses, participating in external conferences, etc.
- Administer and maintain the firm's Learning Management System, ensuring training materials are up-to-date, accessible, and properly tagged
- Provide technical assistance to supervisors in developing employee training plans
- Perform other duties as assigned
