Procurement Analyst
The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain procurement process to support our internal stakeholders and government customers. GDIT's supply chain team is organized by commodity, meaning our teams strategically purchase the same types of products in order to grow their expertise. We have a Software, Cloud/SaaS, End User Device/IT Hardware, Server/Storage, Non-IT Hardware, and Corporate Services teams. We also have a group of dedicated buyers that support specific programs/requirements. We are looking for professionals with experience with FAR/Government procurement and/or experience in one of the commodities listed above. Meaningful work and personal impact as a Procurement Analyst at GDIT will involve managing and supporting all aspects of the supply chain procurement process, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal stakeholders and government clients.
- Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements
- Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action
- Management of RFQ/RFPs from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
- Completion of sourcing checklist (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.)
- Ensures high internal customer satisfaction
- Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible

- Education: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of degree, 6+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement required.
- Experience: 2+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement
- Role requirements:
- Experience with terms and conditions/pricing negotiation
- Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company
- Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data
- Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process
- Performs work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship
- Location: This is a hybrid position that requires working at one of our GDIT facilities in Herndon, VA or Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable to work onsite 3+ days a week.

The likely salary range for this position is $61,402 - $80,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
