Job Details
Essential Functions
- Create, update, and maintain item master records within ERP.
- Maintain item attributes including manufacturer, supplier part number, UOM, commodity classification, description, and financial accounts (inventory and expense accounts).
- Standardize item data across service lines and locations.
- Extend items to new markets, locations, and warehouses.
- Deactivate obsolete or inaccurate items to maintain data integrity.
Operational Support
- Ensure items align with contracted vendors when applicable.
- Support inventory structures, including PAR levels and MIN/MAX settings.
- Validate item setup prior to onboarding new markets.
Vendor Integration Support
- Coordinate cXML item mapping for existing vendors (training required).
- Provide supplier item numbers and location mapping for catalog or cXML ordering.
- Partner with supply chain teams to ensure successful integration of vendor items.
Training & Process Improvement
- Provide item master training for supply chain staff.
- Partner with buyers to ensure proper categorization and compliance across service lines.
- Identify gaps in system utilization and recommend improvements.
- Support enhancements to item master processes and overall ERP usage.
Knowledge
- Understanding of supply chain operations, procurement processes, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of item master data structures and data governance best practices.
- Familiarity with supplier integrations, including cXML and catalog management.
- Basic understanding of financial systems and account structures related to purchasing.
- Knowledge of contract management processes and pricing validation.
- Understanding of system workflows, user access controls, and configuration management.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field preferred; relevant work experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Environmental Working Conditions
- Hybrid work.
- 10% travel required.

- Manual dexterity for system navigation and data entry.
