Material Handler Shipping
The Material Handler Shipping plays a key role in warehouse operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant shipping and receiving activities. This position focuses on handling materials, preparing and packaging small parcels, and using shipping software and ERP systems to support high-quality customer fulfillment in a regulated industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily shipping and receiving activities, including preparing, labeling, and processing outgoing and incoming small parcel shipments.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse, including picking, packing, and staging products for shipment.
- Use shipping software and ERP systems to create, update, and track shipments, ensuring accuracy of order, product, and customer information.
- Support warehouse production and fulfillment operations by organizing, moving, and managing inventory as needed.
- Package and protect products according to company standards and regulatory requirements to ensure safe delivery.
- Verify shipping documentation and records, including packing lists and shipping labels, to maintain accuracy and traceability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to resolve shipping or receiving issues and support on-time delivery.
- Follow procedures for working in a regulated environment and adhere to all applicable regulations and internal quality standards.
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, to input, track, and report shipping and inventory data.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following all safety guidelines and best practices.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of shipping experience in a regulated industry.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse production support.
- Hands-on experience with fulfillment activities such as picking, packing, and packaging materials.
- Proficiency with shipping software and ability to process and track shipments electronically.
- Experience with ERP systems or ERP software in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to document and share information clearly.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in international shipping with an understanding of international regulations and requirements (preferred).
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) in addition to ERP systems (preferred).
- Experience working in a regulated environment or regulated industry, with familiarity in following strict procedures.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality in shipping and fulfillment tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
