Event Coordinator

Immediate need for a talented Event Coordinator. This is a 12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Gardena, CA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Job ID: 25-66406 Pay Range: $28 - $30.94/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for an administrative super star who is able to multitask and organize mtgs/events, and general office support.
  • Someone with strong hospitality experience.
  • Someone who is well personalized.
  • We are looking for an Event Manager in a layman language.
  • Interview 1: Video interview via MS teams for 30 minutes. (Panel interview with two Managers)
  • Interview 2: In-person interview for 60-minutes (Panel interview with four Managers).
  • Consistently demonstrate excellence in hospitality to ensure Client's Hydrogen headquarters (H2HQ) B2B and customer interactions are reflective of its brand.
  • Support in coordinating TMNA H2HQ customer activities.
  • Support a team of managers, senior manager, and group managers in coordinating customer visits.
  • Coordination includes presentation support, hydrogen station tours, live demonstrations, ride-along, and off-site tours.
  • Create a more polished B2B and customer experience for Client guests.
  • Roles and responsibilities may include clerical and administrative level support, meeting scheduling, room reservations, 'run of show' and 'day of activities' coordination.
  • External B2B and customer follow up.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills: Event Manager, Even Coordinator.
  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • SharePoint, MS Office Suite
  • Focuses one's actions and decisions on timely and accurate responses to customers.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Work collaboratively with Client team members at all levels of the organization to ensure the team is prepared to support B2B interactions.
  • Communicates clearly and is easy to understand.
  • Listens actively and remains engaged.
  • Has excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to be able to apply lessons learned from past experiences and be able to work through changes/situations in a consistently evolving work environment.
  • Japanese language skills (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
