The Planner III works cross-functionally with Customer Service, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure demand signals, planning assumptions, lead times, and system data are accurate, current, and aligned across the planning horizon./ph2Essential Responsibilities/h2ulliServe as the primary owner of MRP planning for assigned value streams or product families./liliRun, analyze, and maintain MRP outputs to ensure planning signals reflect current demand, supply conditions, and planning assumptions./liliOwn MRP exception management including planned order, reschedule, defer, and cancellation messages./liliOwn and document planning assumptions that drive MRP behavior for assigned value streams or product lines./liliEnsure MRP performance supports schedule stability, predictable material flow, and delivery commitments./liliPerform daily review and action of MRP planning messages./liliValidate timing, quantities, and need dates of MRP recommendations./liliAct as the first line of defense in identifying, filtering, and correcting MRP signal noise before it impacts schedules or execution priorities./liliFirm, adjust, release, or defer planned orders in alignment with production plans and material readiness./liliCoordinate planned order releases with Master Scheduling and capacity considerations./liliPrevent unnecessary early releases or duplicate demand signals./liliPartner with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to maintain accurate and actionable customer demand signals in the ERP system./liliSupport demand clean-up activities including stale orders, misaligned promise dates, duplicate demand, and invalid requirements./liliMaintain and continuously improve planning-related master data including lead times, order policies, planning BOMs, routings, yield, and scrap assumptions./liliCollaborate with Master Schedulers to establish and periodically review planning and manufacturing lead times./liliSupport audits and data governance initiatives tied to planning accuracy./li/ulh2Position Requirements/h2ulliBachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience./lili5+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, or manufacturing operations./liliDemonstrated experience owning MRP planning for defined value streams or product lines./liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., APCS/BPCS, Oracle, Epicor, or similar)./li/ulpOther Requirements: This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
