Project Scope: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of NACHA file formats and ACH payment processing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and implementing payment solutions that comply with NACHA standards, ensuring seamless integration with financial systems and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements related to ACH payments and NACHA file processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement payment workflows.
• Ensure compliance with NACHA rules and regulations in all payment-related processes.
• Document functional specifications, process flows, and data mappings.
• Support testing and validation of NACHA files and ACH transactions.
• Liaise with financial institutions and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve payment issues.
• Monitor ACH file transmissions and reconcile discrepancies.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on NACHA/ACH processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services domain.
• Hands-on experience with NACHA file formats and ACH payment processing.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, banking operations, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and business process modeling software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP systems or payment gateways.
• Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standards.
• Knowledge of fraud detection and risk mitigation in ACH transactions.
