About the Role:
Join GAMMA SURGERY CENTER LLC as an OR Nurse and play a vital role in delivering exceptional surgical care. Our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, PA is dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care in a supportive and innovative environment.



Responsibilities:
  • Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and recovery processes.
  • Document all nursing care and patient responses accurately in medical records.
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices in surgical nursing.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe surgical environment.
  • Monday - Friday daylight only, no weekends, no call.
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
