Senior Shipping & Receiving Generalist

Our company has offices around the world and is expanding continuously. We are looking for self-motivated, experienced professionals to join our team. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Shipping & Receiving Generalist in the corporate office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Senior Shipping & Receiving Generalist — Ann Arbor, Michigan Responsibilities: · Loading and unloading trucks and matching packing slips with received or shipped products. · Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins and make necessary stock quantity and location entries in the computer system. · Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. · Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and move materials and items from storage areas to shipping areas or to other designated areas. · Assist in counting physical inventory. · Prepare parcels for mailing. · Ensure warehouse and work areas are always clean and orderly. · Supporting domestic logistic freight needs for ZOLLER North America, including truck, and air freight for equipment shipped to customer locations and tradeshows, and other shipping needs · Preparing and forwarding import documents to customers and freight forwarders for effective border crossings. · Prepare packing slips for shipments of promotional items · Advising appropriate ZINC employees and customers of expected delivery time and updating the computer system regarding the shipping information. · Other duties as assigned. Requirements: · Must not require sponsorship to work in United States now or in the future · Four years of prior warehouse shipping/receiving experience · Ability to obtain a valid forklift operating license · Communication proficiency · Organizational skills · Time management skills · Computer experience including Microsoft® Word, Excel, and ERP systems required · Ability to work within a team, and independently This is a full-time position offering competitive salary commensurate with one’s experience, 401K with employer contribution, health and dental insurance, PTO and paid holidays.
