Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a dynamic and growing team. This role involves managing a generalist book of business with a focus on commercial and personal lines, including construction, contractors, property/real estate, property management, habitational, and lesser’s risk accounts.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Competitive and open to negotiation. Options include a temporary draw (3-6 months) or a fully salaried structure.
• Commissions: 50/50 split.

Responsibilities

• Manage a generalist book of business, with a focus on middle to large market accounts.
• Handle approximately 1,000 policies annually, with a workload split of 20% new business and 80% renewal business.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the book of business.
• Collaborate with producers, account managers, and assistants to deliver exceptional service.
• Participate in carrier events as desired.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P/C) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role (may consider candidates with slightly less experience). Preference for candidates who can bring an existing book of business.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with EPIC software is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong cultural fit with a solutions-oriented mindset. Excellent client relationship and development skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Other Requirements: Generalist experience from a small to mid-sized agency preferred. Candidates with a siloed background in large agencies may not be a fit.
