Procurement Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering concepts and assess manufacturing feasibility
• Monitor global market conditions impacting procurement and operations
• Research and evaluate new and existing suppliers
• Manage RFQ processes and perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis
• Support supplier selection and sourcing strategies with cross-functional teams
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements
• Track procurement cost reduction initiatives
• Manage supplier relationships and act as primary point of contact
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively
• Ensure on-time delivery and expedite open orders when necessary
• Determine material requirements and maintain inventory levels
• Coordinate with internal teams on end-of-life material planning and risk mitigation
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with Finance and Inventory teams
• Implement ECOs and MCOs according to company policies
• Manage indirect procurement spend effectively

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a production environment
• Experience leading cross-functional procurement projects
• Experience with global sourcing strategies and raw material pricing analysis
• Preferred experience in plastics and metals procurement
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools
